Practice

Hello! This will be where you'll practice posting a comment (which is how you'll submit your homework). Remember, homework starts the week of Monday, September 27th, so now is the time.

Use this time to recommend a book (other than the one you put on your Interest Inventory) to your fellow classmates.

Click on the link under this post that tells you how many comments there are. Then type the book recommendation in the comment box. Use the pull-down menu just below it and select "Name/URL." Type your name (first and last) in the "Name" box, and leave the "URL" box blank. Click continue, then follow the directions to complete the post. You'll know your post went through when you see a yellow box that says something like, "You comment has been submitted for approval." Just know, the comment won't actually appear until I approve it. So check back again tomorrow to make sure your comment posted!

Thank you!

Mrs. Puccio

The book is very good becuase i realy like books about dogs so i think tyhat if someone likes a book about animals they should really read this book. the dog saves a lot of people from a sinking ship that sunk with the mayors daughter and her new born baby on it, so sirus (dogs name) swims out with a rope and gives it to the ship caption and he ends up being a hero.

  48. Kelsey,

Why don't you write the letter from the "we" perspective (as in, from the class, not just from you). Let me know when you're done, I'll give you time to share it, and if everyone agrees, we can send the letter from the entire class.

But i also think that the woman could be a protagonist . i was wondering can there be two protagonist or does one of those two have to be the antagonist? Any way i love the story so far i think its sounds really interesting! HAVE FUN , BE ACTIVE AND READ! :):)

  57. Since I missed the whole main beginning of 'Yes Ma'am' I predicted that this boy ( which I know now is Roger) tried to take a women's purse? I guess he failed to do so... I wish it could go on more!=( and I think he is the protagonist because he is the one with the problem that needs to be solved.
